Class Cancellation on Tuesday, October 15th!!!
Due to MSP conferences, all Washburn MPS Community Education classes will be canceled on October 15th and rescheduled to November 26th!
Please contact me if you are not available November 26th for the rescheduled classes and we will hopefully find another date to join in one of my Monday or Wed classes!
Classes WILL be held on Monday October 14th! There are also no classes on October 16th due to MEA. We will be back in full swing the following week, October 21-23rd!

Get Ready!! Fall 2019 Minneapolis Community Education Registration is OPEN!! Classes begin September 30th!!
Pilates 1 Mat Class- Low-impact, core body conditioning. Learn and practice the Five Stott© Pilates Principles, improve your posture, balance, and flexibility through stretching and core strengthening exercises. Build strength in your abdomen, lower back, and hips with the focus of making your torso the powerhouse of your body.
Pilates 2 Mat Class- This is a second level pilates class for those that have experienced Pilates 1 and are looking for a bit more. This one hour and fifteen minute class is sure to challenge your strength and conditioning with more advanced pilates exercises focusing on making the torso the powerhouse of your body.

Pilates/Yoga Power Sculpt Mat Class- In this Class we begin with the Five Stott© Pilates Principles. Next using pilates principles we heat our body using Vinyasa Flow Yoga Sun Salutations then continue with Pilates at an intermediate level (level 2). In this class we will use provided small stability balls and resistance Thera-bands, which are available through me to borrow or to purchase for $5. Please have some pilates and yoga experience.

This is not your typical yoga class. AFlow brings you strength, balance, and isometric holds with a faster flow. Peak postures change daily so you can progress in all aspects of your fitness journey. Our yoga strength class is designed for the athlete that needs a stretch day, but doesn’t want to Om.9 to 10 a.m. every other Saturday June 1 through September 21

A little Mindful Monday Motivation! It's #MarchMatness month!
The The Single Leg Stretch is a Pilates essential and these ladies are making it look like a lot of fun!!
This exercise strengthens the abdominal muscles, stabilizes the spine and helps build strength in the torso while improving your endurance & coordination! The single leg stretch is part of the well known Ab Series of Five! Breaking it down and focusing on each part of the series is a great way to focus and not rush through the movements. And follow the hashtag ##MarchMatness on Instagram for all kinds of love for Mat Pilates!
